Stats Overview

Dread Delusion has four primary stats. You gain one stat point per level, so choose wisely.

The Warrior Build — Strength & Vitality

Stat Priority: Strength > Vitality > Dexterity > Intelligence
Weapons: Battle Axe, Sunlight Greatsword
Armor: Knight's Plate (Heavy)
Playstyle: Charge into battle, break enemy guards, and absorb damage with heavy armor. Your high Vitality makes you resistant to sanity damage.
Best for: Players who prefer direct, aggressive combat.

The Mage Build — Intelligence & Vitality

Stat Priority: Intelligence > Vitality > Dexterity > Strength
Weapons: Arcane Staff, Starlight Dagger (backup)
Armor: Traveler's Set (Light) for mobility
Playstyle: Stay at range, use magic to control the battlefield. Your high Intelligence gives you a large mana pool for sustained casting.
Best for: Players who enjoy tactical, ranged combat.

The Rogue Build — Dexterity & Vitality

Stat Priority: Dexterity > Vitality > Strength > Intelligence
Weapons: Starlight Dagger, Hunter's Crossbow
Armor: Rogue's Garb (Light)
Playstyle: Sneak, backstab, and use ranged attacks. Your high Dexterity makes you fast and hard to hit.
Best for: Players who prefer stealth and precision.

Hybrid Builds — The Best of Both Worlds

Spellblade (Strength + Intelligence)

Use the Void Blade for melee and the Arcane Staff for ranged. Buff your weapon with magic for extra damage. Requires careful stat management.

Shadow Archer (Dexterity + Intelligence)

Use the Repeater Crossbow for consistent damage and utility spells for crowd control. A versatile build for any situation.

Skill Priority Guide

In addition to stats, you can unlock skills through quests and exploration. Here are the most valuable ones:

  1. Glider Mastery: Increases gliding distance. Essential for exploration.
  2. Sanity Shield: Reduces sanity damage taken. Invaluable for all builds.
  3. Critical Strike: Increases backstab damage. Essential for rogues.
  4. Mana Surge: Increases mana regeneration. Essential for mages.
  5. Iron Will: Reduces stamina consumption. Useful for warriors.
