Physics glitches are the most common issues in Lunacid. Here's how to deal with them.

Falling Through the Floor

Sometimes you can fall through the floor of a dungeon. This happens most often near the edges of rooms. The fix: if you fall through, you'll respawn at the last safe position. To avoid it, don't walk too close to the edges of rooms.

Getting Stuck in Walls

You can get stuck in walls if you dodge roll into them. This is caused by the game's collision detection failing during the roll animation. The fix: use the "Unstuck" option in the pause menu. This teleports you to the nearest safe position.

Enemy Clipping

Enemies can sometimes clip through walls and attack you from outside the room. This is caused by the enemy AI pathfinding failing. The fix: leave the room and come back. The enemy should reset to its original position.

Save Issues

Save issues can be frustrating, especially in a game with limited autosave points.

Save File Corruption

Stuttering When Loading Areas

Stuttering when loading new areas is caused by the game loading assets. Install Lunacid on an SSD to reduce loading times and stuttering.

Memory Leak

Lunacid has a known memory leak that causes the game to use more RAM over time. After about 2 hours of play, the game will start stuttering and eventually crash. The fix: restart the game every 2 hours to clear the memory.

NPC Not Spawning

Sometimes an NPC doesn't spawn at their designated location. This is caused by the NPC spawn system failing. The fix: save and reload. The NPC should spawn when you reload.

If a quest item doesn't appear in its designated location, leave the area and come back. The item should spawn when you re-enter the area.

Dialogue Loop

Some NPCs get stuck in a dialogue loop, repeating the same line over and over. The fix: leave the area and come back. The NPC's dialogue should reset.
